The product, in the report: Rad Power Bikes Radrunner 2 battery and charger.
Our Rad Power Bikes charger blew a hole and began smoking, sparking, and catching fire. It was a Radrunner 2 battery that has been deemed not safe and their normal charger.

The product, in the report: Rad Runner Plus
Front wheel fell off rad runner plus ebike while in motion. I have heard of at least two others this has happened to. This is clearly a product flaw.

No incident, no one hurt Made Mar 21, 2024, sent to the company Mar 25, 2024, published by CPSC Apr 8, 2024
The product, in the report: The tires are 2”x27.5 made by VEE brand but placed on a RadPower Radcity 5 Plus ebike
I own a RadPower Radcity 5 Plus ebike and starting within the first year, the tires developed significant cracking on the sidewalls. The manufacturer has now said to not ride on them but will not replace them. Their other bike model, the Radwagon 4 had a recall for this very issue.

No one hurt Made Mar 18, 2024, sent to the company Mar 21, 2024, published by CPSC Apr 4, 2024
The product, in the report: Rad Power Bikes RadWagon 4, orange
I was riding a Rad Power Bikes RadWagon 4, when the bolt holding on the kickstand snapped in half, causing the kickstand to fall off the bike and become lodged under the rear tire. As I was in motion, that cause the back wheel to jam, the bike to stop suddenly and skid sideways, and I narrowly avoided falling into the street along with my two small children who were riding on the back of the bike. We were in an intersection when this happened and could have easily been struck by a vehicle. It is only a combination of the fact that I’m relatively strong, and pure luck that we were not injured or killed.
I did a bit of research and there are multiple reports of this bolt snapping in exactly the same way on [REDACTED] and in the Rad Owners [REDACTED] group, so this is not an isolated incident. I reported it to Rad Power Bikes and they told me to install a new kickstand with the exact same hardware which seems certifiably insane. They need to figure out a recall for the kickstand assembly so it can be attached to the bike with more than a clearly insufficiently strong bolt. If they’re not going to do it voluntarily then perhaps you can make them.
