  1. Hurt, no treatment

Made Jul 25, 2026, sent to the company Jul 29, 2026, published by CPSC Aug 12, 2026

The product, in the report: This is a PUJH dual hub motor ebike. 6000 watt ebike sold by Amazon.

I was riding an E-bike called PUJH. The wheels are large. 26 x 4 inch it has plastic wheel fenders. Not sure the exact name of them, but they stopped water from splashing on you and pebbles from the front tire protect your bike from getting dirty. Those coverings that go over the bike tire. I thought they were called fenders anyway mine snapped off its held on by the thinnest piece of metal youve ever seen, and they would shake when riding and it bothered me, but I didnt think it was gonna snap. The fender got stuck in the wheel well of the back wheel the Bike felt like it hit a force field. I went flying off of it and landed in the hospital. I know how to do a stunt man roll and I landed on my side. I still ended up in the hospital, but other people are gonna die in this spike. Many people are gonna die on this bike. There needs to be a recall when you analyze the metal youll see what Im talking about and they use that same metal clip for all sizes of this fender. Ive seen it on other bikes from China

The product, in the report: Electronic bike: PUJH Peak 1500W Motors Electric 1500W Motor, 48V 17.5Ah 840Wh, 29” | Fast Ebike | Max 32 mph https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DH1ZFS6W?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

USE CAN CAUSE MAJOR BODILY INJURY OR DEATH! Product information below. This product has a critical, life-threatening defect. The front fork lacks a hole or slot for the safety washer. This is not a minor oversight; it’s a catastrophic design flaw. The safety washer is a critical component that prevents the front wheel from detaching if the wheel nut loosens. Without it, the wheel can and will come off, causing a total loss of control. IMMEDIATE RECALL IS REQUIRED.

Noticed issue during assembly of an electric bike. Informed by retailer that the product is not returnable. Gratefully only monetary damages for me. Manufacturer states it can be used by a 16-year-old. Please help me prevent a catastrophe from happening.
