The product, in the report: Pedego Electric Tandem Bike. White color, 26.

Ive bought a Pedego Tandem at Livermore California Pedego,on August/15/2024. After a week of use. Ive noticed sudden intermittent power loss of the bike with a sudden acceleration. This issue has cause the bike to fall but thank God no injuries to me or my wife. Ive reported the issue to the dealerships. I was given many different explanations, from break sensor problems, Throttle to the main controller and the wiring harnesses. I was told theyd adjusted the break sensors and installing a new Throttle. Nothing worked after 7 months of going back and forth to the dealer to figure out whats wrong with the bike. Meanwhile we hardly used the brand new bike that we paid for. After 7 month we were told it might be the controller. After many complaints, leaving the bike at their shop. I was told theyd installed a new controller and everything is just fine. Took the bike home for the test ride. The bike stalled at the busy intersection losing power. I almost got rear ended. So that was my last straw before filing Small Claims Court after finding, Tandem bikes were Recalled by the manufacturer due to the manufacturing defect and hazardous riding conditions. The dealership knowingly didnt disclose the issue. Now Im trying to get total refund through Small Claims Court. Since the dealership is refusing and denying to accept the existing manufacturer defects.
