The product, in the report: It is a black foldable e-bike with an detachable, external battery which to my knowledge is not UL-certified.
When the throttle on a Foo F1 e-bike breaks, it leaves the throttle fully open. Mine broke as I happened to be getting off of it, so I had one foot on the ground, the other in the air, and only one hand on the handlebars when the 50-lb e-bike shot out from under me, wanting to go its full speed of 20 MPH. I was spun around 360 degrees while holding onto the e-bike before managing to release it in a direction without people for it to strike, where it travelled 10 feet before falling on its side.
