The product, in the report: ATV Polaris Ace 900

This 77 year old consumer is reporting that he purchased a 2016 ATV from a sports bike dealer retailer in Michigan around the middle of August 2018. He had no problems with the ATV until October 23rd, 2018 when he was riding near a cabin they were sharing and he began to smell a burning odor. He pulled to the side of the road and dismounted only to find that the bike had caught fire. Leaves behind seat between seat and engine. He was able to extinguish the fire, he was not injured and he was able to restart the ATV to get it back to the cabin, loaded onto his trailer and drive it to a repair location. He said that the repair shop is cooperating with him. He has not spoken with the manufacturer but he does intend to speak with them. Spoke said not their fault.
