The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: 2020 HISUN Sector 750 UTV, [REDACTED]
When our 2020 HISUN Sector 750 UTV, VIN [REDACTED], stops running, either because the operator shuts it off, or the engine dies, which it often does, while on an incline and while in gear, the drivetrain “locks up”. It is impossible to shift to neutral or park, because the shifter is locked up, and it is impossible to restart the engine because it has to be in Park or Neutral. So, it is just locked up, period. The danger is in what you have to do to get it unlocked. You have to get off and forcibly push and pull the vehicle back and forth, while at the same time trying to move the shifter into neutral or park. Because it’s on an incline, and because you have to get off the vehicle to do this, as soon as it pops into neutral, the vehicle takes off down the incline. If anyone was in front of it, they would get run over, probably killed. When this happened yesterday, no one was in front of it, but the tree on down the hill got leveled. THIS IS VERY, VERY, VERY, VERY DANGEROUS!!!!!

No incident, no one hurt Made Sep 20, 2024, sent to the company Sep 25, 2024, published by CPSC Oct 9, 2024
The product, in the report: 2020 HISUN Sector 750 UTV, VIN [REDACTED] I tried to upload a short video showing the defect, but I don’t think it uploaded.
We purchased a 2020 HISUN Sector 750 UTV with only 84.4 hours on it from the original owner a week ago. Now the EPS (Electronic Power Steering) turns sharply and immediately to the left. When driving, when we risk doing that, it will keep forcefully trying to turn to the left. I have notified both HISUN and the selling dealer, and they are both talking to me, but have not offered to correct this very-dangerous defect. I have a short video clip documenting what it is doing.
UPDATED ON 9/23/2024: [I have found others reporting the exact same thing, power steering turning hard all the way to the left on its own.

No one hurt Made Dec 20, 2023, sent to the company Dec 26, 2023, published by CPSC Jan 10, 2024
The product, in the report: Hisan Sector 250 side by side utility vehicle
On November 4, 2023, as my grandchildren were driving around my property on my 2022 Hisan Sector 250 it caught fire near the motor and the rear axle. I was able to run for a fire extinguisher and put the fire out. The fire damaged the shifting cable and coolant hose. I took the unit back to the dealership and they were unaware of any concerns from Hisan about their vehicles catching fire. The fire appeared to start in some leaves that had accumulated around the rear axle. The vehicle has been in for repair for over four weeks and, last week. I just happened to get online and realized that Hisan had concerns with the 2021 model Sectors and performed a recall.

First aid Made Mar 31, 2021, sent to the company Apr 8, 2021, published by CPSC Apr 29, 2021
The product, in the report: 2015 hisun strike 1000 crew [REDACTED] Model strike 1000 crew
I own and operate Moto El Paso I sold a 2015 Hisun Strike 1000 crew side x side to a Mr. [REDACTED] . Mr.[REDACTED]road the Hisun for 45 miles before he had a major roll over accident. Mr. [REDACTED] brought the Hisun to Moto El Paso and described that he felt the rear suspension fail before the accident. We contacted Hisun and told them of the accident and they declined to repair the vehicle and said they were not responsible. Mr. [REDACTED] took the Hisun home. Other customers came to the dealership with complaints about the rear suspension making abnormal noises and working abnormally, Hisun continued to say that no problem existed and the operation was normal. Some time latter Hisun informed Moto El Paso that all of the 2015 Hisun 1000 side by sides and some of the 2016 Hisun 1000 side by sides had a rear suspension defect that needed to be repaired by the selling dealership. We began repairing these Hisun 1000 side x sides and are still repairing them when they come into our dealership and etc. I do not believe that Hisun made any attempt to notify the customers that purchased these Hisun products about the defect. They did not request that we contact customers although we did. I am one dealership of Hundreds and I was told that Hisun only told its top five dealers about this defect (I am one of the 5) I believe that Hisun should have made this a recall and sent out notification to purchasers of these vehicles so as to eliminate the potential for more accidents. I called Mr.[REDACTED] about his unit when I found out that the accident could have been a result of the defect but he had already sold the unit to a different user who I do not believe has been informed of the potential defect.
