  1. No one hurt

Made Jun 27, 2018, sent to the company Jul 6, 2018, published by CPSC Jul 20, 2018

The product, in the report: Bulldog BD700 heavy duty 4WD utility vehicle. This brand is made exclusively for and sold by Home Depot.

Drove the utility vehicle around the yard and driveway pulling a tow-behind spreader for about 2-3 hours. When we had finished the yard work, the vehicle was parked between two garages (detached) where it is normally parked, and we went into our house. About 10 minutes later, we heard sirens coming up the drive and went outside to discover that the vehicle had caught fire and was totally engulfed in flames and thick black smoke. Three fire units responded and put out the fire. The vehicle was completely destroyed as well as parts of the garages and other property that was stored in the area. Fire officials investigating the incident determined it was an electrical issue in the utv that caused the fire.

This is especially disturbing as our grandsons would often drive the Bulldog around the field and if this had happened with one of them driving, I hate to think how much worse it would have been!
