The product, in the report: UTV SIDE by SIDE Vehicle, Gray/Black. Lenth 120” Width 60” Height 74” Curb weight of vehicle 1,433 LBS.
I Purchased the 2023 CF Moto 950 sport Gen2 Side by side UTV. I was unaware that this particular model does not come with an emergency hand brake/ parking brake. While I was riding at an ATV park in PA with my 11-year-old daughter, we had stopped for lunch and was parked on a slight incline. I placed the machine in Park and we ate lunch. When it was time to get back on the trail and ride again, the machine’s Transmation was stuck in park. with no Parking brake option to be applied, all the loads had been placed on the parking pin in the Transmation. My daughter and I had to push the vehicle to release the load that had been place on the parking pin. Once shifted from park to neutral the machine rolled backwards and almost ran over my daughter and rolled quite some distance before I was able to place my foot on the brake pedal. I don’t know how these vehicles can even be sold without a parking brake/ Emergence brake. If there was ever a brake issue with the main brake system, there is no other way of stopping the vehicle. and there is no safe way to park the vehicle without a parking brake. There is even an area that the hand brake would sit in, but on brake leaver installed. This is defiantly a safety issue that needs to be addressed. Thank your for your time.
