The product, in the report: Black hoverboard
I bought a Xnow Smart self balancing scooter in 2015 from Amazon as a Christmas gift. We used it off and on for the last 3 years with no problem. Last night at approximately 10 pm mountain time, my daughter runs up the stairs yelling, “my hoverboard is smoking!” Her dad ran down the stairs and threw the smoking hoverboard outside our basement door. Not more than 2 seconds later it exploded. Dry leaves and brush started to burn around it. We called 911. They put the fire out and no one was injured.
