The product, in the report: Sharper Image Hoverboard. White with two wheels. The manual does not give a manufacturer name or number or serial number. The model is covered

My son’s hoverboard started jerking and yanking soon after we got it. When he plugged it up to charge it became very hot so I asked him to unplug it. He went a couple of weeks without riding it. Recently he rode it again and it completely stopped working and threw him off the board. I decided to open up the board and found one plug undone, many cables glued in, and the power cable COMPLETELY burned in two! I am surprised it didn’t catch fire b/c it is melting the cords.
