Hoverboard just sat on floor for about three weeks. About 6am I was woken up by an electrical burning smell. I woke my wife and baby up and made them leave house. I searched frantically flipping main breaker to my house. I look over and hoverboard is smoking I turn and grab hoverboard and it catches on fire. I didn’t get injured but my carpet and hallway flooring were Burnt. I threw the hover board outside while it was on fire. If I hadn’t woke up and did what I did I would had certainly lost my home and maybe family. The hoverboard was in closet with clothes. It wasn’t on charge or anything just sitting there. I have photos of damage and of hoverboard if you need them.

The product, in the report: Sold by seller “Coocheer” on Amazon although sellers easily change their names and start selling under different personas all the time. It’s a self balancing electric hoverboard available in several colors says High Roller on the front.
I purchased the hover board from Amazon in June of 2017. It is currently being sold on their website under the name Coocheer electric hover board. It is being manufactured by a company in China Hangzhou Chic Intelligent co. Ltd. and the hover board says High roller on the front of it. I noticed it was unplugged last night and plugged it into the included charger for my son and a huge white spark came flying out at me. There is no doubt it would have ignited my sons rug if it had been any closer. The hover board itself is working perfectly and there were absolute no signs of any potential problems until this happened. This needs to be recalled immediately this can kill someone.
