The product, in the report: Atec baseball pitching machine, Casey Pro there is a grey plate that has 5255-1.
We have an Atec pitching machine and had to brand new wheels that were in storage that we put on the pitching machine. 1 set of pitching machine wheels exploded when we put a ball through the machine. If my son or I would have been standing straight on with the wheels we would have been seriously injured. we were lucky to be off to the side. The wheel just exploded and through big pieces of the rubber wheel off. The other set of wheels did the same and when we put the pitching machine in the car to bring home. It was warm outside and it melted the wheels. We went to get it out of the car and it was like a liquid that almost burnt my son and I when we got it out. We contacted Atec but they did nothing about it and said they have never seen this before. After looking up the machine and problems this is a problem. A baseball pitching machine is something used outside and should be able to handle the heat and weather right? Nope not there wheels. To me, this is a very unsafe product and not sure how it has been on the market as long as they have been. No warnings or anything about using this machine.
