The product, in the report: Revolights Skyline Bike Lighting System http://m.rei.com/product/881275/revolights-skyline-bike-lighting-system
Great customer service and very responsive manufacturer. However, after riding the lights for 6 months,” (Dec 2014-May 2015), the rear rings shattered and got jammed between my rear tire and brakes as I was riding home. This is in addition to the front tire ring securing system coming undone and the rings flap as I ride. Quite concerned how the rear rings shattered in a way that locks your rear tire and can cause a bike crash. Additionally the installation process needs to be simpler and the manufacturer needs to reach out to regional bike shops to help customers install and maintain such an investment. Now out half a set of revolights and quite skeptical I’d make additional investments to replace the rear set. Thankful I stopped pedaling and did a controlled fall to prevent injury.
