The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

Hurt, no treatment Made Mar 29, 2025, sent to the company Apr 2, 2025, published by CPSC Apr 16, 2025
The product, in the report: Peloton Bike, as available here: https://www.onepeloton.com/shop/bike/bike-package It was brand new.
I purchased a brand new Peloton bike. On the very first day, on my very first ride -- about 25 minutes into the ride, the right pedal fell off while I was out of the saddle, causing me to fall from the bike. There must have been some kind of faulty assembly to cause the pedal to fall off right away.

Hurt, care not known Made Apr 19, 2021, sent to the company Apr 22, 2021, published by CPSC May 6, 2021
The product, in the report: The Peloton Bike is a high-end indoor bicycle rigged with a Wi-Fi–enabled, 21.5-inch touchscreen tablet that streams live and on-demand classes and allows the rider to compete with other participants (by way of a live leaderboard that ranks riders based on “output,” or the total wattage of energy expended) and get a strenuous cardio workout in the process. Model Bike
Peloton distributes replacement bike frames and parts that are not according to their original or ergonomically safe specification. This produces an imbalance in the bike - which causes one side of the body to experience discomfort due to the torque applied unevenly. I have an injured knee - as long as I don’t use the Peloton Bike, I am ok. If I use it - then the torquing action creates an issue. I’ve received three bikes like this - and they refuse to honor my warranty contract and deliver a good frame with good parts. I have gone through 8 bikes now. The last three are absolutely proven to be unsafe.
