I purchased a Bicycle at Kmart on 12/11/2011 this was during cold weather. I put the bike in my Den and didn’t ride it until the first week in March, 2012. at which time the gears broke out of the rear wheel since it was within Kmart’s 90 day return policy I contact the Store Manager [REDACTED] at the Gastonia NC store number 4866 he said they no longer carry the Bike in question so he couldn’t give me an exchange and since I do not have the receipt he cannot refund me any money. But I just found out yesterday from customer service that he could have look my purchase up on Shop your way reward account and printed my purchase history and gave me the proper refund.
But he didn’t advise me of this instead he was rude and not helpful at all. I understand why they no longer carry this Bike because it’s a lemon. I read the reviews and notice about 5 other people had the same problems as me. Kmart knew of this problem that’s the reason that placed it on sale and discontinued them. This is considered consumer fraud.
