Lanova Toddler Bike Helmet, which carries a CPCS certification according to Amazon website, failed in 3 of 3 helmets in identical fashion. I will be inventorying all of my helmets to see if there are additional incidents. There is a wheel to tighten the helmet (circumference, not the chin strap). The anchor holding this adjustable piece to the helmet has broken in an identical fashion on all 3 helmets leaving this piece floating in the helmet. per Company description: ?ADJUSTABLE TODDLER HELMET?— The child helmet circumference is 19.6-21Inches (50-54cm), Please according to head circumference choose. The bike helmet come with an adjustable helmet turning knob and adjustable straps which makes it flexible to fit perfectly for 3-8 years old kids. We used it exclusively on children age 3 to 5, in accordance with the directions provided. As soon as we noticed the loose strap, we stopped using them.
I have pulled helmets from use and notified the company of the failure.
