The product, in the report: ITM FORGED LITE CARBON handlebar stem
I have a bicycle handlebar stem labeled “ITM FORGED LITE CARBON” that has developed cracks at the transition from carbon fiber to aluminum. I contacted ITM at sales@itm.it to ask if this product was still safe (cosmetic or structural failure?). I was told: “We are the new ITM” .... “we suggest you to contact with Italmanubri which is the old company” ... “we have no contact with them, as they changed locatiuon etc.” ... “They changed location, person etc, we have really no contact there.” .... “we did not purchased the company ..... we just bought the brand” ..”sorry that product is not from us.”
I have not been able to find the “new company” nor have I been able to get further support from the company that is now branded “ITM” although they make the same type of products under the same name.
