The product, in the report: Instep Sierra Double Bike Trailer / stroller - purchased on Amazon - Green and Grey
We recently noticed during a bike ride that our bike trailer was riding wobbly behind the bike. Upon further examination when we stopped, the plastic wheel of our Instep sierra double bike trailer had warped and the tire was falling out of the rim!! I’m thankful we caught it before taking our daughter on another ride that could have resulted in a complete blowout while riding.
Being frustrated with the quality of the product, I went to Amazon to leave an unsatisfactory review. I found that there were many other reviewers that are having the same issues! This made me concerned for the safety of some purchasers pulling their children that may not have noticed the defective wheels starting to warp, yet and could unsuspectingly take their children on a ride, putting the child’s safety at risk. I fear that a loss of tire while pulling a trailer could have terrifying results with a child or children in tow.
