First aid Made Aug 29, 2023, sent to the company Aug 31, 2023, published by CPSC Sep 15, 2023
The product, in the report: GT Brand Bicycle for kids.
My son purchased his first bike on 6/15/2023. He had to go to summer camp [REDACTED]. While at camp he broke his finger and was unable to start riding his new bike until the week of 7/9/2023. After riding his bike a few times; his foot pedal broke, causing him to loose his footing and ended up falling from the bike. Then less than a week later his other foot pedal broke; causing yet again another injury. Around the end of July the bikes kickstand snapped in half when trying to set into place, causing the bike to fall on top of him.

The product, in the report: GT Aggressor Pro bike purchased at Dick’s sporting goods.
My 10yr old rode his bicycle to a friends house in the neighborhood like normal. On the way back thankfully he walked the bike, and while doing so, the front wheels completely came off. A major injury was averted, but this is a huge safety issue.
