The product, in the report: Varia wireless controlled bicycle lights
I was riding on my bicycle with a garmin 520 GPS computer and a garmin varia front and rear lights in the dark.
The lights are smart and change beam shape according to speed and lighting.
Approximately one minute into the ride the lights turned off and left me with no illumination. The lights may have lost wireless connection with the computer.
The issue is that Bicycle lights that are automatically controlled should never fail to off. This is dangerous. Fortunately I was not near any traffic at the time and could manually turn them on again.
