  1. Emergency room

Made Aug 4, 2014, sent to the company Aug 14, 2014, published by CPSC Aug 28, 2014

The product, in the report: Its a product called Wheel Writer that attaches to the back wheel and makes LED images and the wheel spins.

My son was riding his bike when the magnet part of the Wheel Writer became loose and got stuck in the spokes. It caused him to stop suddenly which then caused him to loose control of the handle bars and fall. He landed on his chin which needed 6 stitches. He also had the following damage to his teeth: 1 front tooth broke in half, one was chipped, and the two bottom teeth were loosened and are no slightly discolored. His gums also appeared to be bruised. As they were adult teeth he will need extensive dental repair over the next year or more.
