The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Fox Transition Hard Shell Helmet. Size M. Color yellow.

I bought a Foxhead bicycle helmet from the retailer FreestyleXtreme. After one month of moderate use, after no crashes or incidents, I noticed that the shell of the helmet had cracked around the area where the chin strap is attached with rivets. I contacted the retailer and sent them pictures. They sent me a second helmet. When the replacement helmet arrived, there were stress marks and a crack around the rivets of that one as well.
