The product, in the report: Bike
Caller stated that the rubber piece for braking on the racing bike was worn and caused a failure. Caller stated that she contacted the manufacturer, and they informed her that they did not have parts for the issue. Caller stated the brake/shift lever is less than 10 years and should not have failed. Caller feels that this bike poses a safety hazard and should be reported. Rubber cover interferes with braking and may prevent brakes from working.
