First aid Made Feb 20, 2025, sent to the company Feb 24, 2025, published by CPSC Mar 10, 2025
The product, in the report: Oura Ring Generation 3, Heritage Gold, Size US9, Serial # 2D392407006256.
The Oura ring (gen 3) burned my finger. I was sleeping with the ring on to track my sleep (as normal) and I woke up in the middle of the night with a burning/hot sensation on my finger. I fell back asleep and woke up the next morning, removed the ring, and saw a burn mark. I have had the ring for a year and this is the only time anything like this has happened. I have stopped using the product.

First aid Made Aug 2, 2022, sent to the company Aug 5, 2022, published by CPSC Aug 19, 2022
The product, in the report: Oura, Gen 3 ring, black, size 11. This is a health tracker ring for monitoring sleep, steps, etc.
Oura ring burned my finger. This is a fitness tracker ring. I contacted the company and they tried to claim it was just skin irritation, but it is very clearly a burn. I worry they are claiming more broadly that customers have “skin irritation” when in reality the rings can malfunction and burn consumers.
