The product, in the report: Oura Ring Heritage Silver, US 11, Gen 2 ouraring.com: Finland & San Francisco
I have been using an Oura Ring https://ouraring.com/ for past couple of years, relying on its recording of steps to assist with weight loss for my diabetes. On 9/24/2022, I discovered that the Oura ring records smart phone scrolling and typing as steps. This has negatively impacted my weight loss for diabetes: I thought I was getting enough exercise but it turns out that I was scrolling and typing enough!.
Note: Oura Ring has now partnered with [REDACTED] to document fertility. [REDACTED] is FDA cleared while Oura Ring is not. Consequently, it is not guaranteed to give accurate data to [REDACTED]. Based on my experience, Oura Ring has data integrity issues, which it could propagate to [REDACTED]. I would suggest the data from Oura ring may not be trustworthy.
