First aid Made Apr 5, 2026, sent to the company Apr 9, 2026, published by CPSC Apr 23, 2026
The product, in the report: The unit is a high torque electric mini bike/ dirt bike featuring a 48V 2000W (3000W peak) brushless hub motor and a 48V 70A controller. The power source is a 48V 21Ah lithium ion battery (Internal Cell Code 13INR19/66-8). It features heavy duty hydraulic brakes and a 3 speed LCD smart meter with key ignition. The frame is aluminum alloy with inverted hydraulic front forks and a nitrogen rear shock.
While operating a Tuttio Soleil 01 (Model 48208D), the vehicle experienced a catastrophic Runaway Throttle event. The motor accelerated to 100% output without rider input and failed to respond to the brake-cut off sensor. Despite full mechanical braking, the motor continued to drive the rear wheel, leading to a loss of control and a crash. The product was, Electric Dirt Bike/ E-Bike. Model 48208D high power lithium ion system (13INR19/66-8. My grandson (Minor). Standard recreational riding on flat pavement. The unit was being operated well within its intended use cases. There were injuries. My grandson the rider was thrown from the E-Bike when it failed to stop under braking. He sustained abrasions and soft tissue injuries. The runaway motor caused the E-Bike to become a projectile until it hit an obstruction. Additionally the steering assembly (forks and handle bars) consistently vibrates loose despite being torqued to spec. The unit currently exhibits a Total Electrical Failure (black screen/no start) due to an apparent logic failure in the 48V controller.

Hurt, no treatment Made Nov 9, 2025, sent to the company Nov 13, 2025, published by CPSC Nov 28, 2025
The product, in the report: IGC 2000W Electric Dirt Bike with 48V 21AH Battery, 37MPH Tuttio Soleil01 Electric Motorcycle for Adults, 14”/12” Fat Tire E-Bike with 45 Miles Long-Range for Off-Road Mountain (USA Warehouse)
I purchased a Tuttio E-Bike for my child through Amazon in [month year]. Within weeks the bike began malfunctioning the motor runs in reverse, the kickstand snapped off, and the tension rod broke, causing the chain to pop off continuously. These issues make the bike unsafe and inoperable. It stopped working entirely on October 31, barely six weeks after purchase.
[REDACTED]
My son has been unable to ride the bike for more days than he ever could. I am deeply concerned about the safety of this product because a motor reversing direction unexpectedly poses a risk of injury.
I am reporting this to the Consumer Product Safety Commission to alert other consumers and to request investigation into the safety and warranty compliance of Tuttio E-Bikes. This product should not require customers to perform hazardous repairs on a new unit to make it safe to use.
