First aid Made Jul 1, 2026, sent to the company Jul 7, 2026, published by CPSC Jul 21, 2026
The product, in the report: 24V Electric Dirt Bike, Neche 250W Powered Motorcycle, Ride on Dirt Rocket with Shock Absorption Suspension for Kids MPH, Blue Actual Color: Blue
On July 1, 2026, my son was riding the 24V electric dirt bike when the throttle became stuck and did not release as expected. The bike continued to accelerate/power forward, causing him to lose control and fall.
After he fell, the wheel continued spinning while the bike was on top of him, creating a serious safety hazard and causing additional risk of injury. My son was injured in the incident, and I was also injured while trying to help him and stop the bike.
The throttle malfunction appears to have caused the bike to continue operating when it should have stopped. We have stopped using the bike and are keeping it in its current condition for investigation.
I am reporting this because I believe this product may present a serious safety risk to other riders.
