No incident, no one hurt Made Jan 10, 2026, sent to the company Jan 15, 2026, published by CPSC Feb 5, 2026
The product, in the report: 360 protection, Anti-vibration, Exhause duct, Inflatable tires adapt to complex road conditions, strong dual front rear brake, Engine type 49cc 4-stroke, drive up to 18.5 miles, gas powered dirt bike, environmentally and EPA approved, 150 lbs max capacity, up to 30 mph
Product : Explorinox 49cc 2-stro Dirt Bike Children’s dirt bike purchased through Tiktok Shop for a minor child. Shortly after purchase, before use, the dirt bike exhibited operational failures and shut off repeatedly, preventing safe use as intended. TikTok shop Return Policy states that Returns for this item was easy, and for any reason it is in its orignal condition for a refund within 30 days of delivery. Replacements may be available. Returns for this item is free and easy. This was not the case. I reported the issue immediately, and during the return window. After continued attempts to get the bike running, grey smoke appeared and a case was filed attempting to return and or request a refund. Two attemps was filed and denied and during customer support interactions, even providing videos of the evidence several times, TikTok shop customer offered a $25 coupon and later a $10 “inconvenience” credit automatically. I have no reason to use these “coupons” offers and I stated that these did noot resolve the underlying product defect or safety concerns. The exhaust pipe on the child’s dirt bike completely broke on Janurary 6th, creating an exposed hot surface and sharp edges. This presents a serious burn and injury hazard to a minor. The defect was not visible or discoverable at the time of receiving the item, but we did attampt to return the item and requested a refund after I was denied request to return the item once we knew something was seriously not working as intended use but could not detect the exact issue. Only manifested after regular operation, indicating a latent manufacturing or design defect. The product was marked for children, and failure of an exhaust component poses a high risk of burns, lacerations, or fire-related, and serious injury. Injury was narrowly avoided. Incident was reported to Tiktok shop and to the seller about this product within initial purchase period, whicj case was denied. After attempted continued use, the exhaust system failed completely. Tiktok shop has acknowledged the safety concern and reported this claim to their Safety & Compliance team is investigating the seller. However, Tiktok declined to provide a refund or return under their Buyer Protection policy, or Money-back guarantee program, citing system limatations, and directed me back to the seller. A of this report, the unsafe product remains unresolved despite platform notification. As an attempt to mitigate dissatisfaction without addressing an unsafe product $10 was offered to used-- still refused the proper remedy as a goodwill offer. I did not accept the attemp and did not wave any rights, clearly stating their offer does not resolve the issue. The product has now been removed from use after seller would not provide replacement, repair, return, or refund. The product includes a combustion engine with an exposed exhaust systems. Platform: Tiktok Stop Kyuasnfe shop AND Yucoap And Xoeayi And Pebiotr purchased date October 8, 2025 Delivered October 17, 2025 Child was using this product, and used on sidewalks. No injuried occured as it was avoided. problem with bike with first turn on and on Janurary 6, 2026 the exhaust pipe broke
