The product, in the report: Baja Motorsports Warrior MB200
In July 2012, I purchased the subject mini bike. After about 10 rides the engine plate ripped and I had to take it to a local garage here in Polo (IL) to get it repaired. He welded on a thicker plate. After contacting the dealer in Rockford (IL) they told me there was a recall on the bike, and if I brought it to the store they had the work order ready to fix it. I had someone drive one hour to come pick it up; and another hour to drive it back to the store. Once we got there they told me they wouldn’t be able to do the repair because the new plate had been welded on and had possibly voided any warranty I had. In addition, they said there was no recall on this bike.
I have called the main Baja company service center and tried to talk to the main supervisor; to no avail. I get no cooperation, yet when I research on line, I see this same problem with hundreds of similar results.
This bike cost $650.00 with tax, etc... I just want it repaired!! If the company can’t fix it, then they should replace them with a working bike.
Thank you for your assistance.
