The product, in the report: BAJA MB200 MINI BIKE
My husband and I purchased a Baja MB200 Mini Bike for our son on 11-23-2012 at Tractor Supply. We are having multiple issues with this mini bike which I will list below up to the most current which has made the mini bike unusable:
1) Seat broke off from frame while in use – February 2013 (Seat was replaced with a used seat by Baja Motorsports). 2) Brake Cable broke while in use – Had this repaired by a local mechanic. 3) Fuel Cable broke – Had this repaired by a local mechanic. 4) Chain coming off while in use – Had local mechanic to repair. 5) Brake Plate Assembly broke completely in to – Mini bike not is use.
We are very dissatisfied with purchase of this mini bike. We purchased this for our son as a Christmas present on 11/23/2012 and he has not been able to enjoy it due to the multiple problems listed above. Each time one thing gets repaired something else breaks on it. All the above has placed my son in multiple dangerous situations but thankfully he was operating this mini bike cautiously slow. We contacted Tractor Supply to request a refund but they refused due to their return policy. I posted a review on Tractor Supply web site explaining the problem I was having and Tractor Supply denied the request to post the review. I contacted Baja Motorsports in February of 2013 when the first issue came up and was notified that warranty had expired. For what we paid ($529.99) we feel that it should be more safe and durable instead of it being repaired multiple times. We emailed Baja Motorsports on August 12, 2013 supplying them with the above information and no response has been sent back as of today.
We are requesting to return the mini bike to Baja Motorsports and issue us a full refund due to the multiple past issues and unknown issue that I feel will continue to come up in the future. We have patiently repaired what past issues came up and feel we will continue having problems in the future.
Please note that our son is very particular with this mini bike and takes super great care of it such as riding it only is our yard (which is flat, grassy, and smooth with no hills or ruts). Each time when he is done riding he takes a cloth and wipes it down, stores it in a dry storage barn and he places a cover over the entire bike.
