My son [REDACTED] was biking down a hill in Hampstead nh on the Traxal TRN 29 he tried using breaks he was not slowing down and couldnt make turn. [REDACTED] Went off road flipped and sliced his knee open with the exposed crank. I tested brake they seam to work at slow speeds. We rushed him to Elliot Hospital where he got 22 stitches, he missed wrestling and part of football. Cost me about $1300 out of pocket. Bike is ruined I went to get it repaired and the bike shop told me the bike needs about 350 in repairs but I should contact the dealer because bike is recalled for this reason.
