The product, in the report: Nishiki mountain bike
Nishiki bike components are of poor quality and will break mid ride. The gear derailleur will pop off while shifting mid ride, and gets caught in the wheel and can cause riders to fall. This is extremely dangerous and its happened to countless people based on the one star bike reviews on the Dicks website.

No one hurt Made Aug 23, 2018, sent to the company Aug 31, 2018, published by CPSC Sep 17, 2018
The product, in the report: grey and blue Nishiki Mens comfort bicycle about 6”ft in length including tires 18 speed adjustments
My incident happened on the date Thursday August 23, 2018 My Nishiki Mens comfort mountain bike item# 88975313806, The chain came off, I went to a sidewalk to get out of traffic and as I turned the front wheel to come out of the turn on to the sidewalk the back tire and my left side pedal seemed to buckle and bend under my weight I am a pretty big guy but not not that big maybe 285 pounds, but the bike that I received I was told would handle my weight quite well. It was the first day I had used it,I am concerned about the metal being used for the bikes mechanical hardware if an incident like this happens again to someone else this might be grounds for a recall or maybe a investigation into the exact metals that this company is using for the bike frame and hardware.
