The product, in the report: Lapierre Zesty 529 Mountain Bike white and black. used for trail riding.
I have a 2015 Lapierre Zesty 529 Mountain bike that has axle nut that keeps coming loose and popping out. The fist time it happen I was on a trail in Williamsburg Virginia. I did not think much of it and went to the local dealer and they order a new axle nut and I replaced it using a repair procedure provided by the local Lapierre dealer in Williamsburg. The repair procedure was put out because this seems to be happening allot. This all too place in January 2016.
I am currently on leave visiting family in Pembroke Pines Florida and brought my mountain bike with me. I was on a ride on some local trails at Markham park. I was returning to my car when my rear wheel locked up on me and cased me to stop unexpectedly nearly causing a crash. Luckily I was not on a trail or going to fast. The same ting happen the rear wheel axle nut popped out and worked its way loose.
I feel this is a huge defect most mountain bikes have the threads built into the frame and not an nut that only heard in by a small 1.5mm headless hex nut to hold the axle nut in place.
