The product, in the report: 26 Rock Creek Women’s 18-Speed Mountain Bike, mint color, 69.70 x 24.30 x 41.00 Inches
The bike is by the company Huffy, it’s called 26” Rock Creek Women’s 18-Speed Mountain Bike, specifically in the mint color. I was at Walmart looking for a new bike, and I tested this one out, it was fully assembled. When testing it, I almost fell because the front wheel comes into contact with the bike pedals when you try to steer. I did hurt my foot slightly when I was steering, as the front part of my foot got stuck between the pedal and the front wheel. In addition, after this happened I looked up user reviews for the bike online and a lot of people had the same thing happen to them.

Hurt, no treatment Made Jul 23, 2012, sent to the company Aug 23, 2012, published by CPSC Sep 7, 2012
The product, in the report: Huffy 26M Rock Creek Mountain Bike Model # 56842 36511
We Purchased 2 bikes on Feb 27th 2012 a Huffy 26L Trailrunner and a Huffy 26M Rock Creek we had never rode them until we decided to go camping in May... The first time we went riding the pedal came off my bike (the Trailrunner ) while riding on a trail around the lake and I fell off and Injured my shoulder and foot and scraped up my leg and then had to walk over a mile to get back to the campsite. The threads were all stripped and the pedal would not screw back on .... The next time we went camping was just a couple of weeks ago and we decided to go on another long bike ride and we ventured about 3 miles down a paved bike path and the pedal came off My Husbands Bike (26M Rock Creek) which he was riding and lost control and almost wrecked in the brush The bike was not rideable so My husband had to walk 3 miles back to the campsite ; The Front tire of my bike also blew and is flat and cannot be inflated..We took the bikes back with our receipt to tell them that they are junk and they basically told us there was nothing they could do cause the receipt was over 90 days (just barely mind you) a little over a month too late... So we contacted Huffy’s 1800#.. The first attempt the person hung up on me so I called them back and the lady that I spoke with gave me a # for a repair warranty shop which I called and the # was disconnected... so I called Huffy back and the person on the phone basically told me that she would send me the parts and I would have to find someone to put them on for me. So this meant I would have to pay for the Labor plus drive 2 hours or more to find a service company to put it on for me (they made these bikes so you can’t do it yourself cause it needs a special tool to take the crank shaft off apparently ).. so then she also proceeds to tell me that she would ship the parts to the place I purchased the bike at Walmart and they can take care of it... Walmart says Huffy has to take care of it ... Huffy say Walmart has to take care of it.... My concern is that no one wants to take the responsibility that these bike can seriously injure someone... I read a lot of reviews on the Walmart Review Page about these exact bikes with people posting the same complaints about them with the Pedals falling off and tires deflating I just wish I had seen them before we purchased the bikes
