Emergency room Made Jun 11, 2025, sent to the company Jun 16, 2025, published by CPSC Jul 1, 2025
The product, in the report: Canyon Stoic 3 Mountain Bike, red, size 2XS, purchased August 2023.
My 13 year old son was on a mountain bike ride with his bike team and coaches on our local trail system. While landing a routine jump, the weld on the head tube of his bike came apart, completely separating the handlebars from the rest of the bike, causing him to crash face first into the ground.

No one hurt Made Mar 12, 2021, sent to the company Apr 2, 2021, published by CPSC Apr 16, 2021
The product, in the report: Canyon - 2020 Neuron AL 7.0 - Color: Black - Size: Large
A linkage bolt on my trail rated mountain bike snapped in the middle of a ride. I reported this to the manufacturer, and they sent me a new bolt, which snapped 3 weeks later. The bike is a Canyon - 2020 Neuron AL 7.0. I am concerned what would happen if this bolt were to break on a much more dangerous section of trail. I am in a facebook group of other owners of this make and model of bike, and this appears to be an unfortunately common occurrence. The bike was purchased mid-to-late December and the same bolt has broken twice.
