The product, in the report: The product is a mosquito net designed to be attached to the Snoo Bassinet (also from Happiest Baby Inc.) It consists of a white plastic base which attaches to the bassinet, a white plastic and metal arm that extends above the crib, and a mosquito net which hangs down over the bassinet. The arm extends approximately four feet above the crib.
For the past four months, we have been using the Shoo Mosquito Net (Model# HBAMN001) from Happiest Baby Inc as a protective cover for our infant son’s Snoo bassinet. Last night, I put my son to bed and then got into bed myself. Several minutes later, I heard a loud crack from the direction of the bassinet and rushed over to find that the Shoo’s plastic base had snapped, causing the heavy metal and plastic arm to fall into the bassinet. Fortunately, my son was uninjured, but this was entirely due to luck in how the arm fell. The Shoo’s plastic base does not appear to be fit for purpose given its intended use around infant sleeping products.
