While following the setup instructions on Core Equipment’s 10 Person Instant Cabin Tent, my husband was holding the tent by the center post structure to position it before extending the legs. During this process, one of the legs suddenly released outward on its own, which caused the center mechanism to drop and pinch his fingers. The pressure was significant and we were unable to quickly release it, despite actively trying for a couple of minutes. He sustained a fracture to the tip of his finger, which was confirmed by X-ray at urgent care. We were not using the product in an unusual way... this happened during normal setup, following the intended process.
