The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

First aid Made Aug 7, 2024, sent to the company Aug 12, 2024, published by CPSC Aug 26, 2024
The product, in the report: COOLCABANA 5 shade tent / cabana https://coolcabanas.com/products/coolcabana?variant=41695918457004
When an individual holds the cool cabanas shade inverted and tries to turn it over while mounting it to the pole the arms will quickly and violently extend. If that person or person has a hand or finger in the path of any of the four arms they can easily get seriously injured.

Hurt, no treatment Made Jul 4, 2022, sent to the company Jul 6, 2022, published by CPSC Jul 20, 2022
The product, in the report: COOLCABANA 5 × 1 Large - 64ft² / Solid Navy
I bought a Cool Cabana for the beach. When I went to use it, we followed the directions. It flew up out of the sand and started to fly away. The metal piece, which is one large stake, slammed me in the head dazing me. We were able to get it back under control. However, taking it down the entire frame fell into me. There are no buffers to stop the entire frame from collapsing. I think the design of this product is very unsafe, especially to be around children.
