The product, in the report: Air Bed

I purchased a Coleman Air Bed, Model 2000002843, from a local retailer in Bend OR. This is the 3rd Coleman air bed I have bought in 10 years. My concern about this air bed is the noxious chemical off-gassing it produced. After using this product, I woke up with a headache, bloody nose and sore throat. I had to to throw this air bed out of my house at 4 a.m. due to the smell. I tried to air this bed out for two weeks and the chemicals persisted. I am concerned that people with children will buy this bed for camping, put their kids in a tent and close it up and not realize that they are exposing their children to this chemical. I small print on the bottom of the box, it says This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or reproductive harm. I have contacted the Coleman Co. and they just sent me another (Made in China) smelly air bed, which I will not take out of the box. This is a serious problem having this product on the market and needs to be addressed and removed.

    Thank you!
