The product, in the report: Cascade Mountain Tech 2-person Travel Hammock Product code HAM-2P-24-C
I purchased a travel hammock from Costco (Cascade Mountain Tech 2-person Travel Hammock). It is supposedly rated to 440lb. I weight 225lb. I set it up between two trees and when I laid on it, the carabiner ripped through the stitching in the daisy chain straps and I fell to the ground. This occurred on 5/4/2024. I looked at the product’s ratings on Costco’s site, and there were several ratings (1 star) reporting a similar incident. I’m not sure why Costco is still carrying/selling this product.
