The product, in the report: X-HOVER-1 ALL-STAR. 2 wheeled hover board. Lithium ion battery rechargable. serial number 9061327303492
My son was charging the hover board in his room while he sat on his bed playing [REDACTED]. He said he heard 2 loud pops and the hoverboard started smoking. by the time he got to our room to get his mother and I up the entire house was filled with toxic smoke and his carpet and dresser were already on fire. we managed to get the fire put out and the hoverboard thrown outside where it continued to burn and melt where the batteries are stored inside of the unit. We called the fire department and a report and investigation was done. We have extensive damage to my sons room and everything in it is ruined from fire or smoke damage. if this were to happen while everyone was asleep or not home the house would have been a total lose.
