The product, in the report: Team Gee H20 mini. It is a smaller electric skateboard sold by a company based out of China. It is about 3-4 ft long and has a wood stripe down the center.
Team Gee skateboard that is advertised as a waterproof board started smoking and burning the carpet. The fire department arrived very quickly and stopped it from starting on fire. The entire apartment and everything inside had to be deep cleaned. I used the board outside when the ground was wet regularly, but did not think anything of it. The battery does not meet safety standards as the standards prevent batteries from starting on fire when it is wet.
