The product, in the report: I purchased a Black Carve 2 electric skateboard from Onsra.com.
I ordered a electric skateboard from international company Onsra (https://www.onsra.com/)
The battery stopped working after 6 months and I called the company to replace the under warranty. Instead the company told me they will send me a new battery and I need to replace it myself and put the old battery in a “safe place”. I complied as to try to resolve the issue as quickly as possible even though the electric skateboard should have been replaced under warranty. I disassembled the electric skateboard and attempted to replace the battery with the one they sent me. Upon connecting new battery to the electric skateboard it sparked in my face and smoked. I took a minute and a reevaluated the connections and tried again and once again the board sparked and smoked. I reached out to the company to replace the board but they refused to do so and charged me to ship the board to them even though board was under warranty and was not safe 2nd to manufactory wiring defect in the electric speed controller (ESC) the main component that keeps board safe and regulates its speed.
