The product, in the report: Hikole Scooter for Kids with 3 LED Wheels

My child was riding on a “Hikole Scooter for Kids with 3 LED Wheels”, as purchased on Amazon, which he had been using for just under 3 months. Suddenly the base or platform of the scooter fell to the floor of the pavement and he was thrown forward onto the pavement. Upon examination, we found that the support for the child’s weight is simply some fairly cheap plastic, which had cracked and broken in 2 spots. The scooter is advertised as supporting up to 132 lbs. My child is 44 lbs. This is a very bad design in which unreinforced plastic is supporting the weight of a child who may be traveling at very high speeds at the time of this catastrophic failure.
