The product, in the report: This is a two-wheeled folding electric micro-mobility scooter. The main frame sticker lists the brand as Kugoo, the model as M2 Pro, and the manufacturer as Yongkang Kugoo Technology Co., Ltd. The structural chassis, stem, and deck are painted matte black. Affixed beneath the deck is a secondary tracking sticker that features a QR code, the [REDACTED] logo, and the identifier tracking strings ‘8S0031094269’ and ‘SIOT14G0615’.
On a clear day under normal riding conditions on a flat street, the entire front metal wheel/steering assembly of this Kugoo M2 Pro electric scooter catastrophically fractured into two pieces without warning. The structural mechanical collapse instantly launched me over the handlebars into the street. I experienced severe back pain for several days following the impact. This structural metal casting failure represents a severe, life-threatening manufacturing defect and fall hazard. The unaltered broken hardware is being held as physical evidence.
