No incident, no one hurt Made Jul 5, 2026, sent to the company Jul 9, 2026, published by CPSC Jul 23, 2026
The product, in the report: It is a magnetic train set. Multicolor and fit in toilet paper roll.
I got a gift for my sons first birthday and my gut told me it was unsafe despite the box and listing title saying it is for age 1 and up. I looked into it on Amazon and in the details, the safety information says 3 and up but they are marketing it for 1 year olds. It has small pieces and magnets that are super loose and would very very easily detach.

No one hurt Made Jun 29, 2026, sent to the company Jul 2, 2026, published by CPSC Jul 17, 2026
The product, in the report: Magnetic wooden train sold on amazon by a company called Xiamenyeci and a brand name of Oomloid. On the box it calls the manufacturer, Yunhe Childrens Valley Toys Co LTD and a batch number of 20251225-01. Train parts are colorful animals about 2inches tall by 2 1/2 inches wide with magnets on each ent to connect the pieces.
My granddaughter opened a box containing a magnetic train sold on amazon and her mom found a magnetic nail about half an inch long in the box. I checked the security of the magnets in the other train parts and a few were loose. The toy is marketed to kids age 1 and up and the that age recommendation is on the box it comes on as well.

No one hurt Made Jun 6, 2026, sent to the company Jun 10, 2026, published by CPSC Jun 26, 2026
The product, in the report: 11 piece magnetic train set Montessori toys for 1, 2, 3 year old toddler boys and girls. FUN MONTESSORI TOYS: The montessori toys contain 11 pieces (a monkey engine with animal train cars from number 0 to 10), a magnetic train set, and a storage bag. chunky wooden pieces to ensure tiny hands can easily grasp the pieces.
Purchased an 11 piece Montessori wooden magnetic train set that is advertised in Amazon for ages 1-3 for my 2 year old daughter. We have had it for about 2 months. She was playing with it today and pulled one of the magnets out of the end and exposed a metal tack like piece with a pointed end. Thankfully she was not hurt but she could have swallowed it or fallen on it. Upon looking at the reviews that are not advertised openly, I found that many other purchasers have had this same issue and yet the product is still be sold and advertised as a product for 1-3 year olds.
