The reports, as CPSC published them

Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.

Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

The product, in the report: Might Fun! Air Ripper

I am writing to inform you that I have major safety concerns regarding the Mighty Fun Air Ripper. I purchased this toy on Aug. 20. After two days of light use, my 7 year old was playing with the toy under the supervision of my husband and myself and we witnessed the toy break - snapping and leaving a large welt across my sons stomach. I have photos of the broken toy and injury. I have reported this to the manufacturer and to the store I purchased it from, but wanted you to be aware of the risk the toy poses. I advise removing the toy from shelves so no child experiences the pain mine went through.
