The reports, as CPSC published them
Reports people made to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. CPSC publishes each one after sending it to the company named, and doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate. A report isn’t a recall.
Each report is the words of the person who made it, as CPSC published them. The company’s comments, where CPSC published any, are set apart as the company’s own.

No incident, no one hurt Made Sep 1, 2023, sent to the company Sep 6, 2023, published by CPSC Sep 27, 2023
The product, in the report: Crawling crab that moves around, plays music, is electrical [REDACTED]
Purchased a “Cute Crab Infant Toy” from Woot (Amazon). Based on the written description and the picture associated with the toy, I intended to give it to my great nephew who is learning to crawl. Despite the above there is a warning about not using it for kids under 3. False advertising and unsafe. [REDACTED]
UPDATED ON 9/7/2023: [I purchased the item below. As you can see from the ad, it indicates it is appropriate for very young infants and up. However, the actual item came with a warning “not for under 3 years old.” There is no serial or model number.
Either this toy IS suitable or it IS NOT. Using pictures of infants is misleading at best and definitely dangerous. Amazon alone has pages of ads for this same toy. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=crawling+crab+baby+toy&crid=2DYP7V17SN7IC&sprefix=Crawling%2Caps%2C140&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_8
I will be happy to answer any further questions. My money was refunded, but the money was never the point.]
