The product, in the report: Paw Patrol 838 Water Rescue Pack Toy Little Kids, Inc manufacturer 2014 Spin Master PAW Productions, Inc 2014 #1508917 Contacted Little Kids, Inc safety rep and owner. Said it was the first report of such an incident & all their toys meet safety standards. My concern is that although this was the first report, the incident could have resulted in a tragic injury or death. It shouldn’t matter if it’s the first report. Consumers need to be made aware of the danger. The product needs to be modified or taken off the shelf.
A three year old child got the Paw Patrol Water Backpack hose wrapped around her neck. Another three year old tried to help her remove it. The two children started pulling on the hose in opposite directions making the hose tighter on her neck. Thankfully, the teacher quickly responded and was able to remove the hose before an injury occurred. This could have had a tragic outcome.
