First aid Made Nov 2, 2025, sent to the company Nov 10, 2025, published by CPSC Nov 26, 2025
The product, in the report: E-kids Ms Rachel Sing-Along Boombox with microphone toy. Boombox is 10.63 inches in lenchth by 8.7 inches high and 2.24 inches wide. The microphone is connected to the bom box wlwith a cord and the microphone is 5 inches long. The boombox is multic9lored mainly blue with a purple handle. The microphone is blue and yellow.
My granddaughter took the cord on the Ms Rachel Karaoke Microphone with Boombox and wrapped it around her neck pulling it tight on one end strangling her. Thankfully her mom was right there and was able to quickly remove it. It was only on her neck for a few seconds but it was still in a few seconds able to leave a large mark consist with strangulation. Grant it the product does say 18 months or older. My granddaughter is only 17 months however she just got this toy and if a 17 month old can figure out how to do this a baby a month older can certainly do the same.
